Hi, I'm Lisa

Mindfulness is one of the very useful tools used in therapy and can be used for the public/outside of therapy as a safe way to relax and tune in to your mind and body. Thus using mindfulness-based Stress Reduction skills as a guided meditation after a workout seemed logical to help as a wind-down and added benefit after exercise.

I believe in whole-body holistic well-being. Meditation is an exercise for the mind to be well like the movement is for the body. By pairing the two, we hope you experience the benefits and find your balance in well-being.

BACKGROUND

For Lisa, exercising and team sports in childhood are NOT part of her story. So as an adult, she had to seek different methods of exercise,  walking, running outdoors, and learning the gym thing. Later dance became the way to practice exercise while having fun and it allowed for building connections and friendships. Which brought her to connect with Anna. They talked about building a community for people who are in similar life stages of being too busy with career and family commitments and who now miss out on a consistent workout routine.    

As a newcomer to the Bay area, this partnership with Anna has been the perfect way to continue the routine of a work out, while offering a tool for better mental health. 

One a personal note, I am a dog lover, I enjoy cooking and all forms of dance. I moved to CA in Jan 2022.
